For the past 7 years, we routinely found 5-20 scorpions outside monthly. We would find about 10-15 inside our home every year. I sealed doors to my best ability. Monthly professional pest treatment and stucco to our walls had modest improvements. Finally we decided to look into sealing our home and received estimates from 3 companies. One performed complete interior/exterior and was at least 3-4 times more expensive and seemed very pleasant(although felt more like scare tactics). One estimate was average regarding knowledge and warranties. And then there was David Barrera.

I was thoroughly impressed with his quick call back and estimate timeframe. Upon meeting, again very punctual, his knowledge and work ethic is evident. He recommendation for only sealing entry points and exterior was spot on and he did not try to oversell or use any scare tactics. He actually talked me out of interior sealing and saved a lot of money. His extensive construction history is one of the many assets that makes him a master in this field.

The day of work, he showed up exactly at 6:30am, just like he and all the other reviews say. Meticulous, efficient, professional, courteous, clean, and honest are understatements when you deal with David and his assistants. He performed the work himself and with one assistant for a 4500 sq ft home. They were done by 1:30 pm and everything was left as it was found, and cleaner.

He showed all the work that was done and let us know we may see a few scorpions as they die off over the next year or so.

Now 9 months out, we have only found 1 dead scorpion and couldn’t be happier with the service. I can not recommend Dave any higher. It was a pleasure to have met and had service with someone with his expertise, knowledge, work ethic, and integrity.
